A CONSCIOUS MOVEMENT

McKell Media was first approached by Access Consciousness (AC) in early 2012, to write a press release for co-founder, Dr Dain Heer. From this initial agreement, our work for AC has expanded into a worldwide, multi-faceted, ongoing campaign encompassing a range of personalities, brands, products and events.

 

When AC first approached us, their media profile outside of the USA was very limited and was centred on the two co-founders, Dain Heer and Gary Douglas. Now, our PR efforts have helped AC become a recognised organisation, with a wide range of popular personalities and brands, in more than 170 countries. Our work regularly involves coordinating media-only events, promoting book launches and tours, profile enhancement for key personalities, social media campaigns, and ongoing general media placements.

Over the last 6 years, the media outreach for Access and it’s facilitators keeps growing! On average we have been garnering 30 placements per month from media outlets in the US, Australia, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand. Not only have we nurtured & maintained strong media relationships with key outlets, but we have also stayed on the creative edge,  developing innovative & interactive media days, global day initiatives and strong influencer contacts and seeding strategies for products.

Dr Dain Heer and Gary Douglas have featured on over 20 TV shows to date, including regular spots on KTLA, Fox news, BT Vancouver and morning shows in Houston, San Fransisco, Australia and New Zealand.

Dain and Gary contribute regularly to top outlets in the US and Australia such as Inc.com, Maxim, MindBodyGreen, POPSUGAR, Huffington Post, GQ and the Good Men Project.

The Baby Unicorn Manifesto

We were engaged in a campaign to launch the children's book, The Baby Unicorn Manifesto, into the Australian and US market. To extend reach and awareness of the book, we devised an influencer strategy, engaging with over 150 micro-influencers across Australia and the US. As a result, we collaborated with 76 micro-influencers, securing 90 social media and blog posts and reaching an audience of over 1.5 million.
